The natural staircase requires you to climb while you follow a path which takes you through palo santo vegetation and volcanic terrain to spot red-footed boobies and Nazca boobies and frigatebirds and storm petrels. The dramatic landscape allows visitors to watch birds and take pictures of the scenery. The next stop brings you to Darwin Bay which exists within the remains of a half-flooded volcanic caldera. Walk along a white-sand beach surrounded by nesting birds, marine iguanas, and resting sea lions.
