Morning flight from Quito, Guayaquil, to Baltra in the Galapagos Islands. Baltra Island will be your destination. After clearing immigration and baggage claim you will be met and transferred to your yacht by Natural Paradise staff. After completing immigration and baggage claim, you will be met by a Natural Paradise staff member who will take you to your cabin. There will be time for you to settle in before lunch.
The Eden Islet, off the Santa Cruz Island coast, offers visitors the chance to view a wide variety of Galapagos wildlife while on a dinghy ride.
The cove is located in the northwest part of Isabela and is made up of two distinct coves. This wide bay is home to amazing marine life, including sea turtles, Seahorses, and the unusual "Mola"mola (sunfish). This bay is ideal for snorkeling and diving.
Fernandina Island is home to no foreign species. It is therefore one of the most beautiful ecosystems in the World. The landscape is dominated by Volcano "La Cumbre", which has lava fields that reach the ocean. Highlights of the island include the marine Iguanas and the nesting site for flightless cormorants. This area offers a wonderful opportunity to view the Galapagos Hawk.
Strategically located at Alcedo Volcano's base on the west coast, between Tagus Cove & Elizabeth Bay. The land grew 16 feet in this area after a massive uplift occurred in 1954. It is now a spectacular snorkeling spot.
It is located on the west coast Isabela's Elizabeth Bay. Birdwatchers will be delighted by the abundance of birds that can be seen on a dinghy ride along striking rocky shores, or hiking along lava rock paths leading to tide pools and mangroves. You can spot pintail ducks and green sea turtles in the tide pools.
At 9 x 10 kilometers, the Volcano is home to the largest basaltic caldera of Galapagos. It offers stunning views, the chance to see up to seven species of finch, and a rich display vegetation. Evidence of recent volcanic activity can be seen on the caldera's north side, which was formed in 2005.
Just outside Puerto Villamil, you will find the Wetlands of Isabela Island. These unique bird species include gallinules, white-cheeked pintails and common stilts. They are made up of mangroves, swamps and lagoons. You can visit the Wetlands by foot, following a path through the swamps.
The Arnaldo Tupiza breeding center is approximately one mile (1.25 km) from Puerto Villamil. In captivity, the tortoise population from South Isabela and Sierra Negra Volcano, Cerro Azul Volcano, Cazuelas, Cinco Cerross, Roca Unions, San Pedro, Tables, Cerro Paloma and Cerro Azul have been bred here. There are currently 330 adult and juvenile tortoises.
It is a wonderful place to soak up the natural beauty of the Galapagos. The fascinating history of this island was once home to an indulgent baroness with her three lovers. Legends surrounding this baroness have been linked to a fascinating murder mystery. Floreana's fauna and flora can be explored on easy trails.
The wooden barrel was placed on Floreana Island by whalers who were passing through in the 18th century. This tradition continues today with visitors leaving addressed postcards inside the barrel and sorting through the mail to deliver their mail at home.
Cormorant Point is home to a large flamingo lagoon, where you can also see other birds like common stilts or white-cheeked pintails. It is home to the "Green Beach", named for the high level of olivine crystals found in the sand. The "Four Sand Beach", made up of white coral, is also located there.
After that, you can visit Champion Islet. This small island, named after Andrew Champion and located in the Archipelago's southern part, is ideal for snorkeling or diving. It also offers excellent opportunities for dolphin watching.
This is one of the most popular spots for Nazca boobies, mockingbirds and waved-albatrosses. The cliff is used by large waved albatrosses to launch from the cliff, making it a beautiful spot on the oceanfront. The blowhole is the most famous attraction. It spouts water high up into the air. There are many great photo opportunities at this location.
This excursion takes visitors to Gardner Bay. You can either walk along the beach or swim with sea lion pups. On the beach, you may see curious mockingbirds.
It is also known as "Sea Lion Island". This island is home to noisy, frolicking sea lions that will warmly welcome you with their open, well-finned fins. You can also snorkel on this island and see Nazca boobies and blue-footed boobies.
Continue on to San Cristobal Airport, where you will board your return flight to the Mainland.
